Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin

In 1999 the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin's specialty contractor membership decided to recognize the "best of the best" by presenting its first annual General Contractor of the Year awards to AGC general contractor members who best exemplify the association's founding principles.

Kraemer Brothers, with approximately 300 local employees, was the winner in the larger sized contractor category and was presented with the award at the association's annual convention.

AGC of Wisconsin is one of 100 chapters of the AGC of America, the strongest, oldest and most widely respected construction association in the country. It was founded on the principals of skill, integrity and responsibility and its members represent the best of the State of Wisconsin's construction industry.

The chapter provides its 220 members with a comprehensive array of educational, safety, legal, environmental, legislative, public relation, labor relations and industry relations services and is the recognized leader of the construction industry in the State of Wisconsin.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin named Kraemer Brothers, LLC its Contractor of the Year in 1984. This award, the highest member award given by ABC, is presented annually to the ABC member who through their performance has achieved significant accomplishments for the construction industry and ABC. Kraemer Brothers has been a trusted and respected general contractor in Wisconsin since 1948 and has been a faithful ABC participant for several years.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national trade association for the construction industry that actively promotes the merit shop form of construction. From a modest start by six Baltimore contractors in 1950, ABC has enjoyed a growing membership, now totaling more than 23,000 firms nationally and 900 in the Wisconsin chapter, each dedicated to the principles of free enterprise. These beliefs translate into a healthy, competitive and professional climate, the results of which are proudly reflected in ABC member's construction accomplishments. Today, merit shop contractors perform over 70 percent of all construction nationwide.

Congratulations, Kraemer Brothers, on being named ABC's 1984 Contractor of the Year.
